What is Hero & Ink?
A personalized comic book made as a gift: 26 pages starring the person you choose, drawn from your photos, set in their city, with a story written from the details you give. It is $49 USD as a high-resolution PDF, typically the same day, always within 24 hours, or $89 USD as a printed comic, with the PDF first and free shipping in the US.
How long is the comic?
26 pages: a cover, a dedication page, 22 story pages, an epilogue and a back cover, with more than 50 individually composed panels. It is a full comic book, not a strip or a poster.
Can't I just make this with ChatGPT?
You can make a comic-style picture with a chat tool. A Hero & Ink comic is a finished 26-page book: the person you choose drawn from your photos on every page, a story written from the details you give, lettered pages checked by a person, delivered as a PDF typically the same day, always within 24 hours. You can see them as a comic hero free, from one photo, before you pay.
Can I see it before I pay?
Yes. Add one photo and the order form draws a free preview of your person as a comic hero in about 30 seconds, in the style you choose and in their own clothes, before you pay. You get two tries, and your book starts from this hero.
What do you need from me?
One to three clear photos of each person, their name, their city, and the details that make them who they are: habits, inside jokes, names to include, anything to keep out. One photo is enough; three is best.
What if something is not right?
A person checks every page before it is sent, every order includes one free revision, and if you do not love it, you get a full refund within 14 days. For printed books, the refund applies until your book goes to print. After that, damaged, misprinted or not as described copies are replaced free.
